MANLY ART GALLERY & MUSEUM

A part of the Symbols and Branding subject taken at university, we were asked to re-design the logo of a museum or gallery of our choice. I chose to re-brand my local Manly Art Gallery and Museum. The original logo lacked personality and vibrancy and didn’t suit the evolved target audience of school and TAFE students. The new logo uses colour and modern type to give a refreshed and modern look to the gallery. The splashes of paint reference art and water, honouring the gallery’s seaside location.
